V8 is the latest entry to the list of coworking spaces in Lagos. Located at 7B, Dr S. Ezekuse Close, Lekki Phase 1, they will be opening their doors today, November 16, 2016 at 12 noon.
Apart from the co-working space, V8 will also offer an accelerator program for early stage startups, funding, access to mentors, capacity building, and business strategies. They’ll be offering these services to entrepreneurs, professionals and small businesses. This program will kick off in the first quarter of 2017.
Equipped with a fully furnished workspace, printing station, communal kitchen, break area, meeting rooms, private offices, and wifi, V8 is one more addition to the teeming coworking space population in the Lagos tech ecosystem.
V8 was created by the former Head of Intel Capital, Tobi Oke, and the CEO of iConcepts, Ugo Okoye. Both of whom have over 15 years experience in delivering tech solutions between them. They studied the strategies for creating a conducive environment for new businesses to thrive and decided to come together to start their own coworking space. V8’s general manager is Femi Akintilo, a former cloud solutions architect at MainOne.
Describing the motivation behind entering the Lagos coworking space, Ugo Okoye pointed out that, “we don’t see ourselves as competition to other co-working spaces; we see ourselves as part of the ecosystem in Nigeria enabling entrepreneurship, innovation and collaboration.”
Payment packages for V8 is pretty flexible, as there are four different packages and they all come with varying amounts of privilege.
Enthusiast – with an open workspace desk for N49,000 per month,
